My Story
I’ve spent my career learning how spaces make people feel, not as a theory, but as a practice. From stereoscopic film compositing to virtual production to experiential design, every step has been about the same question:
what does it take to make someone feel genuinely present somewhere?
I grew up moving. Vancouver Island, Winnipeg, across the GTA. It gave me an unusually clear eye for what makes a place worth returning to. I’ve trained and worked across Ireland, The United States, and Canada, and I’ve had the privilege of designing experiences for some of the most demanding creative organizations in the world. I can’t always talk about that work. But it shaped everything.
What I do now is originate and oversee immersive built experiences, defining how a place feels, moves, and evolves, and protecting that vision through every stage of design and construction. I work at the intersection of cinematic storytelling, experiential architecture, and emerging technology, using Unreal Engine not just to visualize spaces but to research them, testing light, atmosphere, rhythm, and collective experience before anything is ever built.

THE PRACTICE
What it means to work with Sheida Sims
I originate and oversee immersive built experiences, defining how a place feels, moves, and evolves, and protecting that vision through every stage of design and construction. I assemble the right specialists for each project, architects, engineers, technology integrators, lighting designers, and lead them as the creative authority. The team is built around the vision, not the other way around.
Full spatial concept developed in Unreal Engine. Atmosphere, rhythm, sequence, and experience tested before anything is proposed.
Vision Development
Ongoing oversight of architectural, engineering, and technology teams to ensure the built result matches the original vision.
Creative Direction

Working directly with owners, developers, and institutions to align vision with practical, financial, and community goals.
Programming logic, DMX integration, spatial sequencing, and the relationship between what a space does and what it feels like.

The SkyClub is in active development. It is the first project of a practice built around a simple belief: that the places people move through every day deserve the same intelligence and ambition as the greatest experiences in the world.
I am interested in clients who want to build something that matters. Hospitality groups, developers, municipalities, and cultural institutions who understand that the right spatial experience is not a cost. It is a long-term asset.
